Friend of the family Rapper Murda Turk is now starring in the new dutch gangsterflick ‘Gangsterboys’. It’s about a Turkish kid strugglin and hustlin. He got caught and starts working for the police. Besides Turk also Yes-R, Salah Edin, Georgina Verbaan, Beau van Erven Dorens and Jeroen van Koningsbrugge are starring in this movie. Murda Turk approached SirOJ to produce some music for his character in the movie. So that’s whats going on. After producing music for the dutch graffitimovie ‘Fat Cap Express’ and dutch TV-show ‘Flow’ this will be SirOJ’s thirth project where he is producing music for film. Stay tuned for more info!

BEHIND OJ’S CLOSED DOOR

The UK compilers of the producers DVD series ‘Behind Closed Doors’ approached SirOJ & FS Green to film in their little studios and follow them for a day. This footage wil be released on the new ‘Behind Closed Doors’ DVD which wil be out somewhere in August. As a return SirOJ and FS Green wil perform and provide the kind peoples from Birmingham with a live beatset. Stay tuned for more info and the new DVD! Big Shout outs to Louis Den.

Superstar

For the Dutch audience: As you probably allready knew SirOJ produced several songs on the ‘de Ark de Triomf’ record by dutch rapper Jiggy Djé. The first video of the albumwas released recently and we would like to share it with you. Check out: the video of Superster‘ with SirOJ on the beat and singing the hook! To celebrate we drink our Arkboy Bier by Heineken. POW!

For everybody: A few years back SirOJ produced a beat called ‘Lightsabermass’. The beat is based on the sounds of lightsabers from the Star Wars movies. Benji B had it in circulaiton for a couple of weeks and people seemed to like it. Reason enough for the people of Faces Records to release it on 7″. The 7″ contains the original piece by SirOJ and a remix of the legendary producer/dj Aardvarck (Rush Hour). Stay tuned for the actual release date and previews from the artwork!
